What role do our emotions play in authentic worship?

PURPOSE OF THIS SEMINAR: To help heal the breach between Evangelical and Charismatic Christians, the tension regarding the display or non-display of emotions in worship services needs to be addressed. Evangelicals have been suspicious of the emotional evidence in some Charismatic service as being “ostentatious.” Charismatics, on the other hand, have been critical of the stayed, non-celebrative nature they see in evangelical services. This seminar is designed to deepen our understanding of human emotions, measured by the Word of God.
