God with Us – Right Here, Right Now!
Midweek Encouragement for December 23, 2020

Immanuel – God with Us! It is my total delight to enjoy with you the commemoration of the entrance of God into our world. For the worshiping, celebrating hearts of His beloved children, He is with us – right here, right now!
Follow this biblical disclosure, and understand that central to our spiritual growth and effectiveness in life is that we let the Lord be Who He said His is – Immanuel -- right here and right now:
Prophecy -- Isaiah 7:14. Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.
Fulfillment -- Matthew 1:23. “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).
Promise – Matthew 28:20b. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Reality – John 17:26. I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.”
The stunning revelation of the perpetual presence of Jesus, our Immanuel, is a sustaining encouragement that goes way beyond the seasonal celebration.
This truth is so profound that it has become a central theme in my new ministry called “More of His Fullness.”
In the new year, I will begin a Sunday Blog with that title. It’s purpose will be to remind us continually of the presence of the Lord in all aspects of our lives as they unfold into the uncertain world in which we find ourselves at present. Immanuel! God with us.
Be encouraged as we grasp the true, spiritual meaning of this blessed truth. And have a wonderful presence-based Christmas celebration.
